This is another house we built recently to the A2 standard that had a number of construction challenges. The staircase atrium being one that had the potential to negate achieving the A2 standard, however we met the challenge and hit the standard once again. Normally an A2 house is designed very conservatively in order to meet the energy efficiency, this house was not simple and required fastidious attention to detail to maintain air-tightness and insulation requirements.
